Jack Sedwick, MD
Dr. Sedwick, who is board-certified in otolaryngology, is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist, as well as cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgeon. He achieved his medical degree at the University of Utah in 1997. In 2002, Dr. Sedwick completed his residency in otolaryngology (ENT) and head and neck surgery at the University of Miami. Upon completing his residency, he achieved a fellowship in facial plastic surgery at the University of Miami, and thereafter served as the chief of the division of facial plastic surgery at the University of Florida. Dr. Sedwick returned home to his native state of Alaska and opened the Alyeska ear, nose and throat clinic in Anchorage in 2006.
Dr. Sedwick consistently refines his expertise through continuing education. He frequently attends conferences and seminars to stay current in his field and provide his patients the most advanced treatment options available. Dr. Sedwick is also very active in research in otolaryngology and has published a number of academic articles related to his field.
Christina Magill, MD
Dr. Magill is a double board-certified surgeon in otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), head and neck surgery, and facial plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. She attained her medical degree from the University of Washington. Dr. Magill completed her surgical subspecialty residency at Washington University in St. Louis. During this time, she undertook a fellowship in regenerative medicine and microsurgery. Dr. Magill then completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in California. Dr. Magill has published numerous invited articles and chapters (see list of publications). Dr. Magill is honored to teach other doctors, and serves as clinical faculty for the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Magill is the director of the Providence Cleft Clinic and also serves on the Fairbanks Cleft Team.
Valarie Coscia, APRN
Valarie is a certified advanced registered nurse practitioner. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida with a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing in 1991. She earned a master’s in nursing degree from the University of Florida, graduating in 1996 as a family nurse practitioner. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed in the state of Alaska to practice as a certified advanced nurse practitioner.
Valarie began her work in the specialty of ear, nose and throat (ENT) and cosmetic/reconstructive facial plastic surgery with the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Florida in 1998. She has worked alongside Dr. Sedwick since 1998, providing clinical evaluations and management of patients requiring ENT care and seeking facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
She has been an injector of BOTOX® since 1998 and provides aesthetic procedures including BOTOX®, Dysport, XEOMIN®, dermal fillers Radiesse, BELOTERO® , Restylane and Juvederm. She also performs Ultherapy treatments, and offers laser treatments of facial veins and pigmentation, permanent hair reduction, superficial and medium depth chemical peels, and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL).
Kami Howlett, PA-C
Kami is a physician assistant who specializes in aesthetic procedures. She began her career in aesthetic procedures in 2004 and specializes in the injection of BOTOX®. She is recognized by Allergan as a Platinum Plus injector of BOTOX®.
Kami is a lifelong Alaskan, born in Petersburg, Alaska and raised in Anchorage and Eagle River. She graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a bachelor's degree in biology, and from the University of Washington MEDEX Physician Assistant training program with a bachelor's degree in health services and physician assistant certification. Kami is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed by the Alaska State Medical Board to practice medicine in the state of Alaska.
Jessica Anderson, PA-C
Jessica began her medical career as a registered nurse after earning her degree from the University of Montana in 2009. She went on to obtain her bachelor’s of clinical health sciences and physician assistant certification (PA-C) from the University of Washington in 2012. Jessica is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed by the Alaska State Medical Board.
Jessica has a passion for caring for children and brings with her a diverse background in pediatrics. Jessica works as a physician assistant in pediatric surgery, gaining a broad knowledge base in the diagnosis, preoperative, operative and postoperative management of surgical problems in children. Jessica has also worked in the inpatient pediatric, and neonatal intensive care units as a registered nurse. She currently performs aesthetic procedures for our clinic and specializes in the injection of BOTOX® and dermal fillers Juvederm, Volbella, Voluma and Belotero.
In addition to injectable procedures, Jessica performs Ultherapy treatments, the only non-invasive procedure FDA-cleared to lift and tighten the skin on the neck and under the chin, and to lift the eyebrows.
Lori Fuller, Aesthetician
Lori is a licensed aesthetician with over 25 years of aesthetic experience, including over 12 in the medical office setting and 15 years in the day spa setting. She is certified in Physicians Choice of Arizona (PCA) skin care products and PCA professional superficial chemical peels. Lori is also certified in microdermabrasion and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments for photofacial skin rejuvenation, photo damage (sun spots), broken capillaries and rosacea. Other licensed procedures include facials, acne treatments with extractions, and eyelash and eyebrow tinting. She also performs a variety of hair removal techniques including waxing, IPL treatment and diode laser treatment.
Lori grew up in the Northwest and moved to Alaska in 1976. She enjoys spending time with her family and in the Alaska outdoors, camping, hiking, biking, skiing and snowmachining.
